experience

Over 20 years’ experience working with important documents

I graduated with a degree in English Translation and Interpreting from the University of Alicante and was appointed as a sworn English interpreter in December 2001. I also completed a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Translation at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

My professional experience has focused particularly on legal and sworn translation. I have worked with solicitors, notaries, consultancy firms, property managers and foreign clients who needed to submit or sign documents in Spain.

Over the years, I have translated deeds, powers of attorney, sales contracts, inheritance documents, wills and documents relating to residence and immigration.

This background enables me to understand the context in which each translation will be used, identify the appropriate terminology and spot any potential issues before they cause delays.

in-person interpretation

Experience with notaries and assisting foreign clients

A significant part of my career has involved working with foreign buyers, sellers and residents in Orihuela Costa and the surrounding area.

I have assisted clients with the signing of property sale agreements, powers of attorney, inheritance matters and other notarial procedures. Before each appointment, I review the available documentation and prepare the necessary terminology. During the signing, I interpret the explanations accurately so that all parties can understand one another.

Interpretation is not a substitute for legal advice. My role is to help you understand what is being explained and to enable you to put your questions to the relevant professionals.
